Chuck Berry
As someone who's always been more substance over style I don't get the big deal. They've got the wrong trophy but who cares? It's hardly iconic like the World Cup or FA Cup is it? I am sure the players of FG will take solace from the fact they have won the league and not concern themselves too much with whatever tat they may have had in their hands at the time of victory. The game itself was very cagey to start however I thought FG's extra attacking intent and willingness to retain the ball was rewarded in the end. I have seen very little of the CCL1 this season but from what I have the best team won it. I would think both FG and Westfield will be more than fine in the CCL Prem. I cannot comment on MV as I've not seen them. Congrats to all Both teams (you supporting Westfield included) have played all season for the trophy, a total of 68 games between them with i guess both committees working hard each week to achieve success.the fact that the league connot show respect for this speaks volumes. And Phil Kelsy' comments that it doesn't matter and laughing about it again shows disrespect to both teams. He even told the fg vice chairman not to make a fuss and upset Alan Constable or they will find themselves playing away next year mid week at Croydon. For the history book of fg it will always be incorrect. It may not bother you but ive heard it does fg. The fact you dont see many div 1 games and show no respect to the winners regarding the cup i would guess you sit on the leagues committee. Last point Kelsy lives close to where the cup is so why didnt he make an effort to get it before he came along
Henry
You have made some big assumptions. I have been playing this season in the CCL Prem and am a former player for both clubs. I am not saying it was right, and the suits will always upset some people, but I was making the point the hyperbole on here is just a little too much. FG deserved winners and I would imagine, certainly to the players, that is all that will matter
Andy01
Congratulations to Frimley Green. Definitely the best Div 1 team I saw all season.
