Two Ryman South clubs to switch to Southern League?

I think this could be the same for Lammas, If they don't gain promotion in the next two years then I can see them moving back to laleham.

why just if they get promoted? if the money runs out it runs out?

Could be Leatherhead switching. Trouble with W&H is the owner sponsors the Ryman League.

Leatherhead are quoted in the local papers as saying they'd be very unhappy with that scenario. However, where did that sort of rumour come from? It could only come from two sources:

 

1) Someone at the FA meeting on May 8th leaked it, but if they did, then news travelled fast, and I doubt that they've allocated anyone anywhere yet. That first meeting was probably just to confirm names and numbers and eligibility.

 

More likely is 2)

 

An anorak somewhere has sat down and worked out the likely permutations for the whole of Step Four, a bit like another used to do.

 

Whilst I have a lot of time for (most) anoraks and have been known to put my hood on from time to time, none of the predictions could in any way be official, so would be a "best guess".

if either of those happen, poor Fleet Town.  I think they have yo-yo'd between the two Southern League divisions for the past 3 or 4 seasons

After studying this in more detail (slow day!) it looks a certainty that Walton & Hersham will become Southern League. The suggestion about Leatherhead and Corinthian Casuals moving isn't as far fetched as it originally sounded either, although a lot depends on where the FA mark their boundaries.

 

They could face trips to the two Aylesbury's and places like Daventry. No fun ffor clubs at J9 and 10 of the M25.

 

If Walton Casuals do get a reprieve ahead of Barkingside (Essex r-up) then Leatherhead look like they'll be ok. For now!
