3 years in a row Lowestoft have cocked it up in the final! At least it's another money bags/no support club out of the way.

Line-up for next season as we stand:

Billericay Town
Lowestoft Town
Wealdstone
AFC Hornchurch
East Thurrock
Met Police
Bury Town
Canvey Island
Margate
Hendon
Kingstonian
Leiston
Hampton & Richmond
Bognor Regis Town
Harrow Borough
Enfield Town
Cray Wanderers
Wingate & Finchley
Thurrock
Lewes
Maidstone United
Dulwich Hamlet
Grays Athletic

Does anyone know the Maidstone situation, ie, they cant go up because of their plastic pitch? With the addition of 3/4 players and the core of last seasons side, there's no reason why we shouldn't be competing to be top dogs. We've gotta get those attendances up as well, right from the very first game.

Pathetic situation.

These pitches are they way forward IMO.And the conference have their heads up their own arses

Don't get me wrong,if you have a pitch like Borehamwoods and can afford to maintain it then grass every time but these pitches are so real now it's silly to not allow them

I'm guessing but if they were in a promotion position, the conference would probably reprieve a relegation position, but I totally agree with you, there's no reason why we can't regain promotion as champions again.

According to reports - Maidstone would have to re-lay their pitch to gain promotion from the Ryman Prem, as Conf do not allow "plastic" pitches.

No doubt they would find the money if the situation arose.

If correct, I can't see them digging up an expensive 3G pitch (and money spinner) and laying a grass pitch (at more considerable expense). Unless the Conference change the rules.
