jl
Maidstone promoted. That will be an interesting place to go next year and hopefully their away support will be decent too. Chelmo miss out again...

BUFC
How long before we meet up with Aldershot again? Probably sooner than you meet Concord again - ESC allowing!
Eastside Urchin
Maidstone won't walk it,they get big crowds but aren't splashing the cash apparently. Wealdstone will go up I think
Oli Pirie
Theres more teams than i expected that could potentially gain promotion, just hope Billericay is one of them:)

Ryan.c
Does anyone know the Maidstone situation, ie, they cant go up because of their plastic pitch? With the addition of 3/4 players and the core of last seasons side, there's no reason why we shouldn't be competing to be top dogs. We've gotta get those attendances up as well, right from the very first game.
OldTowner
According to reports - Maidstone would have to re-lay their pitch to gain promotion from the Ryman Prem, as Conf do not allow "plastic" pitches. No doubt they would find the money if the situation arose.
Eastside Urchin
Pathetic situation. These pitches are they way forward IMO.And the conference have their heads up their own arses Don't get me wrong,if you have a pitch like Borehamwoods and can afford to maintain it then grass every time but these pitches are so real now it's silly to not allow them

I'm guessing but if they were in a promotion position, the conference would probably reprieve a relegation position, but I totally agree with you, there's no reason why we can't regain promotion as champions again. No doubt they would find the money if the situation arose. If correct, I can't see them digging up an expensive 3G pitch (and money spinner) and laying a grass pitch (at more considerable expense). Unless the Conference change the rules.
