The Mayor Of Simpleton
I reckon that Neil Doncaster and co. must have had a few then! Why not have a 12-12-12-12 set up, and then allow promotion/relegation to/from the league from the Juniors. Reform the Juniors into: Scottish Conference (1 up, 3 down - 1 to Northern, 1 to Central, 1 to Southern) Scottish Northern Premier (Aberdeen Northwards), Scottish Central Premier (The Central Belt), Scottish Southern Premier (Glasgow/Edinburgh to the Borders) Then 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Divisions etc. There are decent sides like Arthurlie, Spartans, Edinburgh City and Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic who could do well in the Scottish Leagues.
