Final score Croydon 5-0 Staines.

What a lovely afternoon.

1st half Staines missed 2 or 3 gilt edged chances but Croydon still looked the stronger team.

2nd half Staines were completely over-run, Croydon looking likely to score with every attack. Staines 'keeper made 2 or 3 terrific saves but his defence were ripped apart time after time.

Croydon had quality going forward but I was most impressed with their No 3, who was calmly assured all through the game and confidently two footed which is unusual at this level.

Croydon deserved everything from that game. Staines collapsed second half and as you say it could been more if it weren't for the Staines keeper!

pitch was superb !!!

afc 3 was there best player i like jansen up top scored the second goal good finish aswell

lammas 3 was poor an they just looked like they wouldnt score at any time croydon the stronger the whole game our own redders was awful worst game ive seen him play the two managers  wouldve been better playing themselves, o connor in the middle no tempo on ball an caught in possession far too many times dont know the othere cm but didnt rate him also especially when greenwood on bench that was a game he relishes. unfortunate result but hats off to the lammas management who've got to a final in there first season!!

I thought Staines best player was the No 5. Won most in the air and looked a bit more organised than others around him.

Didn't think Redrup was too bad - not great but they got worse when he was substituted.

Greenwood was injured Saturday and was not involved as was Redrup whose been injured the last 3 games but just couldn't carry on longer than the 50. Lammas no 5 was Adam Ridley. Think it was that Croydon didn't allow Staines to play as that's their better game. I agree I thought the LB for Croydon was good. I also thought Staines best player was the keeper to be fair and he didn't deserve to concede 5! The save he made onto the bar was top draw.

Probably the best I've seen Adam play this season, no doubt Jamie was out the night before! Tut tut!! Felt sorry for Shane and Jamie up top as they had no service at all. Like I said tho was impressed with Croydon and will expect them to challenge next season if they keep them players.
