who gives a toss about what leyton are doing anyway

Clearly ETFC do. Who posted the messages Great New & Great News 2?

Costas plaything....don't think so!!!!
Can't come up with any decent replies to my comments so i guess that is all you can say.
Maybe you can come and state rubbish like that when/if it happens.

LB, strange that you have to go right back to the start of the season to find a poor ETFC result. We are in great form and are looking forward to the rest of the season. Leyton are hardly going great guns in Ryman 1 and it would be excellent to be in the same league as you next season. Then you will see how much Brimo has improved.

Our league record in Ryman 1 is not really that different to yours in the ESL. So we ain't doing too bad!!! Bit behind on the fixtures due to our FA Cup run, but a couple of good result with our games in hand we should be there or there abouts.

Keep them ground improvements going and maybe you can come and play with the big boys.

Played a couple of them pre-season didn't you? Went really well by all accounts.

Let the excuses roll.

How can you say your performances in Ryman 1 are on a par with ours. We are challenging at the top of the table, you are not. Looking forward to whipping your butts next season. Will we be allowed behind the goal this time? Will your bunch of heavy minders intimidate visiting fans?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Like I said LB, you have to go back to pre-season or our first game to find a poor ETFC result, shame the same can't be said for Leyton eh? Even IF you win your games in hand you won't be doing that well. We were very unlucky against Carshalton who are riding high in the Ryman Premier. You have been put to bed in your cup games.

We have lost in the FA Trophy & FA CUP two competitions we are not going to win anyway our last defeat them apart were in August and before that 28 games unbeaten. Always unlucky when you lose ain't ya? As it happens i heard you were as well, but so were we against a good Histon side only Dorchester gave us a hiding. A hiding against Dorchester or a hiding against Basildon what result is worse?

As for keep going on about a game 2 years ago stop boring us, you have had your say and we have had ours, let the matter die. No fans home or away stood behind the goal that game and i believe your players have enough about them to not let that effect their game, shame some of you behaved like spoilt little kids.

Said all i have to say. Don't want me on this forum then talk about the ESL, FA Vase, AOF etc not Leyton FC results that don't concern you until you have proved yourself as a club and can come and play at the same level.

Why keep going on about the Basildon result?

Are you trying to say the Leyton players weren't bothered about the FA Cup/Trophy? I know you weren't going to win them but surely it would have been good to have a lengthy cup run? Being in the 1st round proper of the FA Cup is a great feeling. It's not like you can say you are going to concentrate on trying to win the league. Histon have proved you can't compete with top of the table division 1 sides.

Lets hope we meet you next season.

You obviously missed my point. Of course we cared. We did competed with Histon as you competed with Carshalton. Top of the table sides!!! i haven't seen Enfield Town take 3 points from any of the top teams in the ESL this season let alone a result against teams at a higher level. We play teams of a higher level than you week in week out and more often than not get results.

We can agree to disagree. Good luck for the season.

Mick,

Kindly present this evidence of 'all' Enfield Town fans, or 'Enfield' as a collective noun somehow claiming superiority. I cannot find any comment on this board stating this. All I see is normal banter. Ground facilities seem unimportant in this argument. In any case, they are our host club's facilities. Perhaps some fans find you tiresome as an individual, Mick, and who can blame them? Perhaps some fans found the Leyton 'welcome' an unpleasant one. Comments from one or two people do not a collective opinion make, fool. This is elementary. Get a grip.

BTW looking forward to visiting you lot next week. Seriously. May the best team win, innit. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

BTW Lee Bridge/Soph/Soph's brief/the leyton fan - we look forward to playing you next season and filling your new social club with fans. For a change.
