Lost 5-1 because we played poorly.

 

Not because the ref cheated us

Not because we had loads of players out

and

Not because the other team signed 5 players before the game.

Any of the excuses sound familiar???

 

It happens in football: ETFC V Basildon ring any bells!!!!!

You cannot compare results with Leyton we are out of your league.....FACT.

I was actually taking the penny whistle out of Leyton by comparing them to Leonard Stanley 2s. Sorry if you got the wrong impression.

 

No apologies for taking the whiskas out of spurs. I am a Gooner and proud of it... the other guy started it...

Lowest Attendance in the 4th Qualifying round of the FA Cup and lowest attendance of the FA Trophy 1st Round.

 

You didn't make it to the 4th Qualifying round of the FA Cup and are not eligable to play in the FA Trophy for some reason can't think why!!!

 

Keep worrying about the size of our crowds i'd be more worried about what division you'll be playing in next year. Don't quite understand the mentality. How was it on the 1st game of the season?

 

"oh well we lost, but we had the biggest crowd in the ESL today"

 

You will be judged on what you do in the league not on the size of your crowds and at the moment that makes you no better than Ilford, Concord, Basildon results have proved that and a way off what we are doing at Leyton.

 

We open our new clubhouse shortly, you worry about getting your ground upto scratch and keep picking up the doggy poo of the pitch before home games.

How are you going to fill the clubhouse....you could fit all your home support in one corner...It will be used mainly for functions and weddings,maybe Soph is looking to recoup some of the money he has put into his 'plaything'.

Leyton are relying on one person for their future...and his interest will only last as long as his son plays for the club.
