I'm surprised that nobody started this topic, as it oozes positivity and achievement. Yesterday (Sunday 28th of April) saw Gary Mabbutt, Peter Clayton (Middx FA) as well as local politicians descend to Donkey Lane and the QE Stadium along with hundreds of our supporters, Youth Players, Parents of Youth and some passers by to witness an afternoon of celebration, youth football on the stadium pitch and the award of our CCS.

It's another example of the guidance the board and FA has given and which all the volunteering section's have successfully embraced.

The folk's behind the goal can grunt and moan but this is another example of the great work being done and foundation's being set.

What our club need now is for the council to develop training facilities specifically for Enfield Town FC where the first team, reserves, U21's along with the 100's of boys and girls who represent our youth teams can use in addition to the 100's of 5-6-7 year olds now attending our soccer school scheme over the park, which can only be conducted while we have the long summer days as all local astro turf and sports hall operators do not have the space.

Anyway Sunday was very very enjoyable and no doubt bar takings were jolly too.

Great idea.

All Youth members ( up to agreed age - say 12 ) get a free season ticket to be used with at min of 1 parent attending games.

All Youth members 12 - 16 free entry.

Increase attendance and start the younger members to get Town into their system and become regular supporters

Need to think outside the box to encourage membership of the youngsters.

They are the supporters of the Club for years to come.

All youth players are free entry, It just dose'nt work, well not enough anyway. I would like to see a cuddly furry Mascot outside on the GCR from 1pm to get attention before entering the ground from 2pm as a figure of fun, it'll add a different site to home games and could appeal to the young, other than just football.

My two still talk about the dog mascot at Great Wakering. Everytime we go to footy they ask if the dog will be there.

A Donkey (as we play in Donkey Lane) may be appropriate.
