In The Dugout
41 year old, former non-league player and non-contract player at league/conference level in my very much younger days, retired a few seasons ago now (nothing to shout home about in I am being completely honest). But after performing scouting duties in non-league, doing an assistants job in non-league season before last, managing a Surrey county team and youth scouting for a football league team a few years back I am looking at enrolling on my FA badge courses and currently/hoping to look for a possible reserve team/assistants job in the league (live in the catchment area) which will assist me with gaining some managerial experience and also help with the "badge journey". Plan was to start this in the season just gone, unfortunately due to a car accident I had to postpone this. Not naive or arrogant enough to think that just because I have played the game I can instinctively walk straight into a job which is why I would like to gain the experience first with possibly a reserve team or as an assistant so that I can "learn my trade" and hopefully build on what advice and experience I have been given so far. I know from these sort of forums that any replies from these sort of requests can be varied, but please feel free to message me if required and I can exchange details and gladly send over some information. Thank you kindly.
