Central mid field - need two ball winners, who can distribute to one of our players.ie a Jon Moore / Rudi.

Need a further proven goal scorer up front.

To keep as the nucleus:

 

Imber

Lockie

Kirby (if he can keep himself fit)

White

Allen

Hope

Wallace

 

For the squad:

 

Siva

Kendall

Bardle

O'Brien

Campbell

Hunt

Johnstone

 

Needed:

 

Back up GK to challenge Noel, not just a young kid

Solid left back

2 central midfielders - 1 who chips in with goals

Winger, ideally left footed

Goalscoring Centre forward as we are too reliant on Liam and Kirby from set pieces

 

This would mean a squad of about 20 to start the season which would be about right.

 

The remaining players who aren't listed don't offer us too much by way of progression in my view

Couldnt agree with you more C D . very well put and layed out. The weaker less enthusiastic players must be moved on in order for our club to progress. The tree needs shaking to make the dead wood fall out. Lets face it we have more than we need. The bigger challenge is holding on to our better assetts . Money talks louder than loyalty I'm sorry to say.
