To Ed Smith for finishing third top goal scorer in our division and Danny Burnell for finishing sixth.

If Ed had started playing for us from the start of the season I think he would have been vying for top spot.

Certainly hope they both stay with us next season.

Agree. Ed was superb from the moment he joined and after suffering injury has come back and hit form very quickly again.

Danny always gives 100% and puts defenders under all kinds of problems.

Would keep o'toole also and then get one more in. Someone to add a bit if height and muscle against the burnham style of defending

yea we have 3 of the best strikers we could possibly have at this level so to keep all 3 of them would be awesome as long as they are managed well an extra 1 as mark says to get us more of a footing in tough battling tight games would set us up well.

in all honesty i wouldn't make too much changes to the squad we have now. bit more pace and mobility here and there. 3 or 4 who are good hard working battling players rather than the more glamour type player

Bit of inside info, he loved it at Slough!

I doubt Adam Martin will start next season with us to be honest, he's far too good for this level of football... Also if Keith Scott pitches up at Hayes & Yeading, I can see Kyle Anthony joining him to be honest...

I think a midfield of say Coyne, Dave Deeney and Swift will be good enough to win this division but we have cut out the choking and inconsistency... I've woken up this morning absolutely gutted, it has finally sunk in that after so much optimism this season, we aren't going up!

I really hope Smith and Burnell stay for next season, their partnership has great potential to help us get promoted if we can stay consistent. However, I think that like most of our players, them staying would be dependent on Bateman being our manager next season.

Having now read yesterday's programme,it appears that Slough have finished bottom of the fair play league this season, something I can't fathom out,as I thought we had put our house in order from last season's antics.

Wouldn't think your midfield three, CR, will be disciplinary free! lol !

I wonder how Paul Coyne and Dave Deeney will get on together,as both want to be the leading man in the team and one will undoubtedly have his nose put out of joint.

I think all three are very good players but I wouldn't go with this combination for the majority of games,if they do come together in the squad next season.

I would like to have a couple of fitter, younger players in the midfield and with an experienced head in it ie Kyle Anthony,Sean Fraser,Adam Martin or 2 experienced guys and one youngster ie Sam Bateman,Paul Coyne,Stuart Swift etc.

This would quicken our tempo somewhat and would help defensively, due to speed around the field.

Yes  good contributions from both  and well done   but I am puzzled by Danny Burnell   he scored 28 goals in all games this season but his last 20 appearences netted just 5 goals  If  he had maintained his early season form we probably wouldnt be so despondent now   very puzzling he was obviously fitter than last season but it just stopped happening.

Don't know but did the loss of goalscoring form coincide with the marathon training?
