What is it with people saying the weather affected all the teams? Yes all the other teams in the league were affected by the weather, but we were 6 games behind everyone else before the bad weather kicked in!

its just like Guernsey, they had a very good cup run and were badly affected by the weather and have had to 17 games in the last month and its has taken its toll on them. they were favourites for the title but now it is looking unlikely due to fatigue setting in.

perhaps some of you should read Batemans comments in the local press He said that tiredness and fatigue were not a factor in the poor run and unlike some teams we had no significant injuries he blamed lack of concentration and individual errors for things unravelling

Promotion will move us to a Leauge where the average gates are 308 against the average for the central is 111.

 

Currently we are reliant on our own fans for income as there is such poor travelling numbers from the small clubs in this leauge and an occasional bonus of an FA Cup run, compared to a higher regular income and still the chance of a cup bonus - I know which one I would want and am sure Steve Easterbrook would too.

I wasn't saying our season was a success, I actually think it was a bit of a failure not making the play offs

 

At the end of the day the only person whos opinion on whether it was a success or failure is Mr Easterbrooks and the board as they will have the final say on whether there will be a new management team in charge next season.

Clive T You are so correct Our lack of success has resulted in an almost 20% drop in attendances this season whilst rivals are showing an increase only success will increase revenue streams especially playing at a higher level The serial failure of the Bateman years is now taking its toll We will shortly learn something of Batemans personal integrity he definately asked for one more chance at the end of last season and has failed again I believe he has an obligation to tender his resignation Its up to Easterbrook if he accepts it or not.

I think it might be more polite to say Steve or Mr Easterbrook, using a surname in my book is quite rude.

 

Sorry if this upsets people but manners maketh a man, and Steve Easterbrook deserves better without him people woundn't be able to moan about not getting promotion !!!!

I have noticed it in quite a few posts and I just think no matter what your opinion is of someone you should still show some respect, after all they are obviously trying to do their best for the club even if it doesnt always go the way they hoped.

Didn't win the League, but after four wins in four days we achieved Promotion to the Ryman South.

Our run in can hardly be compared to Guernseys, who might I say still got promoted and we did not even make the play off's. Lets face it the team was just not good enough.
