Guildford v Biggleswade

Recommended Posts

Season over, no way Guildford are coming back into this!!!

Not sure how we move forward from here, the target at the start of the season was promotion and we haven't even made the play offs, I deem that as an outright failure, sorry but no matter how you sugar coat it, that's what this season has been!!!

CR,

It doesn't need sugar coating even SB has been quoted as saying 'if we don't make the play-offs this season has been a failure'.

Just my opinion RR as I'd imagine there will be certain people on here who will say the complete opposite, if they don't I'll be shocked!

I honestly do not see how SB can keep his job now I'm afraid!

It'll be hard to dis-agree with the Manager's opinion!

We may not have made the playoffs, but we did still achieve the non league dream of reaching the first round of the FA Cup, and reach the semi finals of the League Cup. The players should still be praised for their commitment playing 60 games including the 15 or so we have to squeeze into the last few weeks, even if the main target was not achieved.

I for one will not be unhappy if Bateman is still our manager next season. In my opinion, stability is much more crucial at this level, especially without our own ground, to be successful.

I'll be there Saturday to thank the players for their efforts this season.
