So a Tuesday night replay. I thought it was a fair result where we had the better of the first half, but they had the better of the second. Not too sure what happened with Matt Miller's goal. I'd probably be fuming if I were a Stortford fan, but why did their player not just kick the ball out of play, rather than just leave the ball?

 

They had the better of the second (I think the wind was a big factor in the match) We could have won in in the end when Spencer missed from 2 yards, and then could have lost it when an attcker headed over.

 

Anyone notice Mr Browne their today. Maybe he was looking at Dave Rainford!

Browne ventured into the bar after the game and was talking to Wilkinson, Daly and at length, Tony Boot.

 

How many more players does he want to take with him to the Woood?

I also thought a draw was a fair result, but I don't think we'll come through the replay. And to any angry Stortford fans - any number of Stortford players had the chance to put the ball out if they wanted to, and Slough won possession back and decided to play on. Stortford stopped and looked at the ref, so PLAY TO THE WHISTLE BOYS !
