Good job someone (allegedly) chinned a Hertford fan as its taken the heat right off of Hoddesdon on this topic!

Its a shame no one called the fashion police on st margs because there fans would get a life sentence for looking like the cast of "this is england" .... Best thing for that club would be if North Korea's nukes missed the US and landed on that garden shed of a changing room

it's fair to say from the comments on here that st mags aren't very popular. I'd watch out though, if youre affiliated to any clubs you may find your club gets put on a charge for being unkind!

just start beating teams like SM have done this season.

You mean like holmer green and london tigers ?

Yeah you're right that must be exactly why other teams dislike St. Mags so much.

I am disappointed that the St Mags chairman reported us to the league without speaking to our chairman and I am disappointed that the league have fined Hertford Town FC.

We all know how hard it is to get people to watch football at this level. At Hertford Town FC we have really tried to engage with fans.

The blog that got us in to trouble was written by one of our fans who calls himself the Un-Stable End. Many other fans and our players told us how much they liked it, so we tweeted a link to it.

I really did not expect anyone to take it seriously. It was so obviously harmless fun. Our efforts to raise the profile of Hertford Town FC have led to our highest attendance for several years (404 for London Tigers match this month), a huge increase in visits to our web site (from 1,200 unique visitors in December'12 to 2,100 this month) and 1,231 followers on twitter.

Would be nice if the league recognised that you have to push the boundaries a little to attract people back to matches, and at least asked the St Mags chairman to speak to us first before the complaint was acted on, as even he has since told us that he regrets not speaking to us first.

Is humour and banter really such a bad thing in football????
