Ebbsfleet's saviour?

If he is legit, and has funds to invest (and not as an amount loaned to the club and therefore repayable upon his departure) then that is the main thing.

MyFC has been a car crash waiting to happen - the idea is good but the reality is completely different. The joke goes how many Ebbsfleet fans does it take to change a light bulb? One, and 10,000 to vote on it!

If Carlos puts his money in Escrow, or directly into the club's bank account, then no problems. Getting players in on low wages and marketing them to others - again no problems as long as profits are reinvested in Ebbsfleet/Gravesend & Northfleet.

It is worth following some of the threads on our forum.

In a nutshell, the supporters have forced MYFC to hand over their shares to the Trust and to the ex-Chairman, Phil Sonsara who loaned the club around £200k.

The FT will then hand the shares to Carlos who will start his project.

It might be pie in the sky, but there is no alternative except administration or liquidation..

Players and staff have not been paid in full, and the club owes around £100k in less than 10 days.

Sad days at SbR, but without the albatross that is MYFc, at least , with or without Carlos, we can start afresh.
