March Team of the Month Awards

Recommended Posts

Aylesbury had a 100% record in the month, won 5 league games and 2 cup matches. Been unbeaten for 27 matches now (new club record apparently). I think that deserves the honour?

Think Holmer Green should have got it, had all the players and officials and Indian Summer weather conditions not let their talisman Michael down they'd have won the Champions League

If you looked at the monthly results for both clubs then you would have seen that their monthly performance was the best - Simples

I normally ignore anything Mr Rhodes has to say, but on this occasion I need to do a Suarez and bite. Mr Rhodes, with your in-depth knowledge of all things Division 2 (as evidenced by your tip of Aylesbury Reserves for the title) please enlighten us who should have won the Div 2 award instead of Kent Athletic and the reasons why. Whilst writing you may wish to apologise to Kent Athletic and perhaps congratulate them on an excellent season where they are still challenging for the title and have reached the Anagram Trophy final. I won't hold my breath.

Hoddesdon Town reserves haven't lost a game in all competitions since the 20th of Feb. Played 12, won 11 drawn 1. Decent.

Not sure if I've mentioned this before but we haven't lost since April 14th......LAST YEAR!

You have but Bedford do not have Dustable Towns cash. I saw Bedford smash Southall 6 3 a few weeks back and they are a hard working team made up of local players who deserve the award for all there hard work.

Lucky that I didn't hold my breath then.
