Saturday 20th April - Fixtures, Results

Recommended Posts

So Cockfosters need to win all three of their remaining games to be promoted.

Would feel for them if they don't go up after the effort put in/money spent.

Trying to work out what Oxhey/Aylesbury need also.

Div 2 title race is going to be an interesting one, with Kents and Aston Clinton both drawing.

What has happened to Codicote of late?!

Saturday 20th April

PREMIER DIVISION

0-1 Hanwell Town v Harefield United

The team that wanted it more won today we were rubbish some of our players looked like they didnt want to be there today very poor.

A good crowd and nice weather but a crap team performence today :(

For me T.Kennedy was our only player that played well today.

Bring on Oxhey Jets

Premier - Oxhey Jets need two wins and hope Aylesbury United get nothing from their last game. If Aylesbury win then Oxhey Jets would need to win their last game as well.

Division One - Cockfosters require three wins if Hoddesdon win at Langford on Saturday.

Division Two is open with top three as all still have at least four games left

Great win for us, backs to the wall at times but a great win, boosted by Hatfield losing. Hertford Town 404 attendance, what happened?

Hertford Town had a free admission day and laid on other events like hog-roast, stalls etc

I think Aylesbury will just clinch a win against Hertford, but I reckon Hertford will give them a tough game.

Meaning Oxhey will need to win all their games...without Putnam.

Excellent to see a good crowd at Hertford Town, good initiative and the weather helped too!

Also a note, 208 at Aylesbury today! I think some Ducks may be resurfacing after a long dive to the bottom of the pond ;)

Hoping they sneak their promotion!

Congratulations to London Lions who clinched the Division One Championship today.

Congratulations from me.

Question regarding promotion to SSML Premier Division.

I have heard that London Lions will be ground sharing next season with Hemel Hempstead Town.

If Hemel Hempstead Town get promoted, are they allowed to ground share at the next level?

If Oxhey win both their midweek games, a win against Hadley on Saturday would be enough to secure them second spot due to superior GD. But Hanwell & Haringey will be stiff opposition especially if Lewis Putnam is unavailable. The race for second is very much alive, 2 good teams who in another season wouldf have been contesting the title if moneybags Dunstable weren't in their league!

SG24- I think the whole PPG and 2 being promoted as well as Dunstable being there makes it a lot more exciting though!!!

It must be said, if Oxhey finish second then fairplay to them a very touch run in.

Also, if Putnam is signed by Wycombe is there a chance a fee to Oxhey will mean they can make the changes to their ground and apply again next season?

There will only be a fee if he is on a contract.

That's about right, look at the result and assume the obvious.

What about attending a game and reporting a true reflection on the 90 min.

Oh I forgot, your not welcome at most grounds.

A 3-2 scoreline usually signifies a close game
