Yes. Fair play to them, deserved their win. Our boys looked like they are out of gas at the moment.

After Saturday's game I can confirm that Sandhurst are still most definitely up for the survival battle. There was real commitment from their players who were prepared to fight to the last, even at one point appearing to criticise their Manager for some tactics.

Did they deserve the win? No. Did Epsom? No. We started better but as the half closed, they started to look quite dangerous and when we could only half clear a long throw their oncoming player buried it for a lead that was probably deserved at that point.

From there Epsom started to improve. We stopped our ludicrous experiment of playing a centre half up front (what message does that send to our players when we do that?) and immediately looked better, equalising within three minutes of the substitution, and from then on we were definitely finishing the stronger of the two, but Sandhurst defended well and pinched the points with a late goal that came from a deep cross which was headed back across our keeper by a player who had too much space.

It was also rather worrying to note the report from a League official in the League bulletin that advised Sandhurst's first goal was a good move (it was our assist from a long throw) and the second was a shot! I hope that guy wasn't a referee in an earlier life :)

Anyways, whatever. We "rested" some players and some were away, and maybe we were looking ahead to the "bigger" matches on the horizon and for a combination of all that we got our fingers burned. Indeed we were very fortunate that Cove and South Park also suffered surprise defeats or it could have been more serious.

Good luck to Sandhurst for the rest of the season and I hope you stay up, even if for me it's further away than a trip to Dorking next season. I think it's the Chicks that need to worry now.

On another subject, well played Chessington & Hook. Organised is not a word you usually describe but committed most definitely is. Are they the first team to stop Guernsey scoring at home in two years?

Yet again you go chirping on about something you know nothing about, there was no "ludicrous experiment" as you put it,the reason was quite simple,we have 4 strikers at the club,Robby Burns was starting,Mark Jarman was unavailable,Ramzi Bedj bedj is injured, and Kyle Hough injured his knee in the warm up,we did manage to pull another striker out of our backsides unfortunately he wasnt signed on so we chose to play one of our three central defenders up top,you could of asked anyone of the coaching staff why we played a defender up top but you chose to come on here and have a dig instead

Despite the result I really enjoyed my day at Windsor on Saturday.

The clubhouse felt like being at a step 3 or 4 team's ground with quite a few people using it before and after the match, the pitch was excellent and a drop of Windsor Knot straight from the barrel was very much enjoyed pre- and post-match.

I look forward to going there again next season.

As a supporter of nearly 32 years standing I was having an opinion, which when I last checked, I am entitled to do on a public forum. If you are that badly affected by one sentence of criticism, you shouldn't be reading it.

I am well aware that we have had some strikers missing, although we often play 4-3-3 and we had another perfectly good winger on the bench who might have been on a less preferred wing, but would surely have rather played there instead of watching a central defender with no experience of that position playing in front of him. Alternatively, one of our central defenders on Saturday has played in front of the back four frequently this season and could have done so again to accommodate Anthony.

At no time have Epsom ever played Anthony up front before, not even in a friendly. Therefore, by definition and quite clearly it was an experiment. Also, as I'm sure even you would accept, we took complete control of the game once he was replaced and we resorted to playing players in their rightful places. Therefore, the experiment failed dismally. We all make mistakes but blaming someone else for highlighting it is very weak. Easier with hindsight, yes, but I thought it was odd at the time too and I wasn't the only one.

Finally, this is the first time I've criticised our tactics on here for quite some time and we've had a good season, for which as a supporter I am grateful, but the criticism was deserved this week and, as I say, this is a forum so deal with it, or are you going to try to defend a 2-1 loss to the bottom placed side further still? Just as well you aren't involved at a bigger club with more supporters or even worse, an independent press reporter. What would you do, argue with all of them?

Ash 0 v 1 CWU

About right

Good to meet Chris Clapham at last and old faces in Duncs and AUPostie

Agree with Krooner....Colliers deserved the win....from an Ash view we looked to scared to lose which effected us & we didnt play anywhere near the performance against Baggie lea.

Now the pressure is very much on us & tuesday's home game is a MUST win
