v Rugby (a)

Absolutely brilliant performance. Probably our best of the whole season. Every player was excellent, a perfect game, whether it masters matters in the final outcome or not.

Fair play to the Rugby fans who congratulated us after the game and said they'd signed the petition.

A wonderful result and performance to boot by all accounts. Super stuff. Where there's hope.....

Result of the season for me. I can see us getting maximum points from here, although beware North Greenford after what happened last season. I think we may have played a tired Rugby after their win on Tuesday. Still relying on other results going our way, but who would have thought the season is still alive with 3 games to go?. Well done Rebels. Proud of you.

desperately fighting the urge to think we can still sneak in there but its hard to stop myself. whatever happens the team deserves credit for bouncing back from the bad run of results. even on Saturday we battled bravely with 9 men so to follow that up with 2 superb away wins is great stuff. just going to be so frustrating if we still miss out as we are good enough to be at least playoffs

It's nights like this where joy and happiness has a little disappointment in my opinion.... For all the lows of recent weeks and the sniping on here, myself included, we are the best team in this league, we just gave ourselves a mountain to climb... From what I've seen of all the other teams, they cannot live with us when it clicks like to tonight, we play football whereas the other teams in this league don't like the ball very much...

If we don't make it we don't make it BUT if we do, I will then think god help any of the other play off teams that have to face us, the players will smell blood!!!

Yes a great result and still some hope but it makes the nonsense of the last few weeks even harder to understand those people trying to blame the poor results on extra games fatigue etc. were clearly wrong no sign of those in the last few games

the team were absolutely brilliant tonight and its the best performance I have seen in a long time.

Think Jacko only had one save to make and it was fairly routine. Kolodinsky had absolutely no impact on the game and barely noticed him.

Feel that O'Toole was unlucky though, he put in a great shift and was always in the right place but never received the ball and you could tell he was getting frustrated by this but he carried on and worked even harder.

Very hard to give MoM after a game like this as every one was brilliant.

Ironically,Beaconsfield look like the team we may be able to catch,as they have to play Bigglewade and Godalming, that's provided Slough win their last three games.

Royston look like they have an easier run in, out of them and Beaconsfield.

Great couple of wins for Slough this week. Given the fans a glimmer of hope and makes our last three games interesting.

We all know Slough can turn the best teams over,in this league. That's what makes it so irksome, when Slough drop points against the mediocre sides in the Central division.

Come on you,Rebels!

Can't believe what I saw tonight, compared to what I saw at Royston, Barton, Northwood and Burnham! Totally dominated the 2nd-placed team and could have won by more!

The impossible is still (just about) achievable and the players have to believe until it's mathematical!

The funny thing,CR,is that I fancy Slough to win the play offs this season, if we get in them and that's a big if.

Slough seem like a cup side, and play the one off big games better. They have, unfortunately, failed to live up to the billing of the most consistent team needed to win this league.

So let's hope we get a huge slice of luck to make the play-offs,and then beyond !

Followed on Twitter and couldn't believe what I was seeing after the shift the boys put in against Godalming on Tuesday.

Cannot take North Greenford lightly as they are a form team at the moment and will go into the game fresh compared to us.

Well done to all the players on a great result tonight.

COYR!!

Just got back in , and so glad I went tonite, echo the comments that everyone was excellent.

Dave Deeney tweeted after Godalming away that Adam Martin had been outstanding for the last 10 games and if everyone else played like he had we would be in the playoffs, tonite the TEAM did exactly that and Adam was still outstanding.

Rugby looked poor, whether they were tired or over confident I don't know but I do know we were fantastic all over the pitch. Well done guys

Both teams played Tuesday and had hard games so I don't think tiredness comes in to it.

Going by what people are saying Rugby just caught us on a good night when all our players were bang on form.

RR there are different types of tiredness, while defending one of our corners Rugby's No11 was leaning against the post and said to me' he had never run so much in a match before' most probably due to the constant attacks coming from the Slough side

Also disappointed in the Rugby fans not getting behind their team especially as they were challenging for the title, apart from the odd shout they were really quiet
