On that point then duncs they did....sandhurst players running up & down the pitch causing damage on the pitch as it wasn't just Dorking players running around

My moan is wasting people's time when they could easily be doing something else.

I'm glad the match ref didn't do the same as the one at Dorking, now gives me time to try & get the pitch playable for Tuesday local derby against baggie lea

I will be at the game on tuesday night mate,I spoke to the Baggy lea guy Beano yesterday he reckons I come on here just to wind people up I dont know where he gets that from, do you ? Now when you mark the pitch out on Tuesday can you please stay of the cider and get at least one line straight.

Come on Duncs.... You are at it again.... I would think the lines being straight are the last thing on Gareth's mind for Tuesday, getting the pitch playable far more important. Anyway, there must be a grandchild or two that needs looking after on a Sunday afternoon.... I will see you Tuesday night, weather & groundsman ( ha ha...) permitting..

Or maybe Dorking could be awarded the points as at the scheduled kick off time Sandhurst didn't have the required number of players to start the match and so technically could be considered to have failed to fulfill the fixture. Or based on the ridiculous blame option posted on here Sandhurst were totally responsible for the late kick off ( 20 minutes ) which given the game was abandoned on 69 minutes would have otherwise been 1 minute from its completion. so they were at fault entirely so three points to Dorking.

Hang on, Sandhurst didn't have the required number of players at the ground to kick off at 3pm? so they didn't have 8 players kitted and ready to play at 3pm? that defies belief if true. What was the reason for this, if true?

This is all a smokescreen Powelly dont believe it mate as to the match being abandoned after officially 73 minutes Sandhurst had 10 men to start as the centre half was late believing the game had been called off,the Ref didn't arrive at the ground untill 2 30

It was necessary to make a swift decision on this one and the Board decided this morning that the match must be re-arranged.

It will now take place this coming Thursday 18 April.

Why such a swift decision, have I misunderstood the rules or were Sandhurst to blame.

I can never quite make my mind up whether you are just winding people up all of the time or just like to argue about everything

If Sandhurst had the required number of players then why was the start of the game delayed ? Most certainly the reason given to me for the delayed kick off was because they didn't have enough present to start. I'm assuming the referee would have insisted on the usual 3 pm start if Sandhurst had ten players there . Oh we'll doesn't matter in any case as they will both try again on Thursday.

What time did game kick off?

If it was anything more than 17 minutes then surely the game would have finished on the day.

Are you all missing the point on purpose, the League make the rules but are allowed to change them when they want, there must be a time when an abandoned match can be called a result thats all, none of these other things are important you are all plucking at straws,I have been told that in these situations if a game is 70 minutes old then it is classed as a match.
