Eastside Urchin
Who is up for a day out at the Cricket???? Essex is obviously our nearest, how about either a midweek day or a Sunday Don't really fancy 20/20,not always easy to get a large amount of tickets plus I am not really a fan. Or how about a Sunday afternoon at Lords or the Oval (would prefer lords as its better and I support Middlesex)

DiamondGeezer
There's something I've come across and it's a beer fest at the oval In may. There's a 20/20 game or a 5 dayer Surrey against Durham. I was thinking of going but didn't have anyone to go with really so maybe we could sort this out. The 20//9 game is the 9th of may and the county game is froday 10th to monday 13th. It's £15 advance or £20 on day. I don't mind organising and getting tickets. Just let me know
Eastside Urchin
Not really a fan of the oval, not the most scenic place to watch cricket with those big gas tanks next to the ground. If everyone else was going to go there I would go but think most people would support Essex so that would be the obvious choice for me.

Eastside Urchin
Just had a look through Essex/Middlesex and surreys fixtures and not too many games on a Sunday. I would be up for a midweek county championship game, but can also do a Sunday game. Here's a little sample of fixtures from all 3 up to start of June. Essex County champ : v Hampshire Monday 29-thurs 2nd 40 overs : v Hampshire Friday 3rd 4.40pm start County champ v Kent weds 22may- Saturday 25th 40 over :Sunday 2nd v Scotland Monday 3rd v Surrey 4.40pm Middlesex County championship Wednesday 17th April v Derbyshire Thursday 2nd may county champ v Surrey (finishes on a Sunday) Monday 6th may 40 overs v Glamorgan Surrey Their website annoyed me but nothing spectacular. Essex is the logical choice as its close but it is only small and not easy to get tickets for a half decent game, unless its county championship, not sure about Sunday games though. Lords is about 4 times as big and easier to get tickets, probably just as cheap and easy to get to,upto you, plus its the home of cricket
Eastside Urchin
I actually think the Middlesex v Surrey game could be good or the 40 over game on the Sunday. Otherwise no Sunday game at Essex until start of June against scotland
DiamondGeezer
I think a 40 over game would be more enjoyable. I will be up for it.
Hornchurch "O"
OVAL is tops. Surrey are the best. I'm already doing 7 T/20's. 5 at the Oval. Essex and Middlesex away. Also doing 2 days at the Oval Ashes test. COME ON ENGLAND

cup of tea
I'd be up for a 40 over game as well.
Hornchurch "O"
As i presume this is an Hornchurch event. Essex v Hampshire (40 overs) on Friday May 3rd sounds good. Then we can all support Essex.
