From speaking to various clubs this erason it is thier understanding /recollection that there was never an agreement to play any midweek games in Guernsey HKP. This was the basis of being voted into the CCL, so your argument is floored I'm afraid.

That is not correct, what was agreed that only when there was a real bad fixture backlog would teams be asked to travel midweek. As I have previously posted, it was until very recently that the continued with this line only tom change their mind when it really came to the crunch.

After viewing the footage from TRS, looks like if Westfield want promotion they need to find a better replacement keeper!! First goal maybe either keeper or defender should of cleared but 2nd goal, oops!!

The GFC match v Farnham Town called off on Saturday will now take place on Monday 6th May, so four games in four days.

Powelly1 - No not a player anymore, just a spectator but seen a few games with ''Pav'' was it in goal?! And yes he seemed like a half decent keeper, actually dominated his box and spoke a lot! Makes it a lot easier for a defender!

Sure you'll cope, what other alternative is there. Get the drainage sorted on your pitch and you may get more sympathy.

Not our pitch, hopefully C&L (the owners) will get it sorted. Also need not to have a Cup run as that was even more costly then the problems with the pitch/weather.

Pav our number 1 keeper is out for the season since an injury in February. Also with Charlie Newman Simon Sheppard an Sam Black all out till the summer you could argue thats the spine of our side out but we are lucky enough to have a squad to come in and fill the gaps. Eversley without Baker have good options too.I think theres one or two sides in the mix that have been lucky as would struggle without one ot two certain individuals.

Tony was the first to admit he could have done better but is a quality keeper and his performances have been good since coming in. All keepers will make errors and as long as they are not every week like calamity keepers aka Seb Brown, things will be fine

Your not wrong Sean I've only seen O'Connor play a handful of times and i thought Saturday he looked a class above the rest. The two goals he scored were fantastic. The combination of him, Rideout and Lewis looked quite good. Very good addition to have back. Can only play weekends I'm told as he's on Tag.

I'd like to apologise to Wembley FC for our club's official report on the web site this week. It was written by someone who wasn't there who was given information from someone who clearly didn't watch it in any detail.

I have stressed to people at our club before that they are writing history, but they don't seem to care and have just written what they think everyone wants to hear. Maybe this is why they are plummeting on the pitchero chart right now.

As a result you would think from the report that Wembley hardly had a look in. This is very far from the case as they played their part fully and actually had more possession than us over the 90 minutes, hitting the post before we had taken the lead. We took our chances and it was reminiscent of a game there a couple of years back when it was our turn to dominate, yet lost 4-1.

This is not to say that we didn't compete. Some of our players had excellent games, in particular our centre half pairing and our keeper, which tells you a lot about where most of the game was played. However, our "official" club report doesn't reflect that and seeing as you'll never get an apology for anything from our club, I apologise on their behalf.
