Don Juan DeMarcus
He wasn't. Neither was db9. Strangely logie was who wasn't named.?!?
Don Juan DeMarcus
Ps smith took his goals well and looked very potent but was very lucky not to get a red after a lunge following a throw in that was correctly given against him (he complained a lot but it did hit his heel) Adam martin and parsons were utterly superb. readingrebel
He wasn't. Neither was db9. Strangely logie was who wasn't named.?!? So we could name only 3 subs again and with Logie being there but not a sub does seem strange.
Sue
Not sure where Simon was but I believe Danny was ill with the dreaded sickness bug thats hitting everyone.
Mr Rebel
Logie was about on Tuesday but wasn't able to be named as a sub due to concussion i thought someone said so i guess that's why he wasn't on the bench. sounds very strange to name a player who is at home in bed on the bench may as well name nobody in that spot anyway good to get back to winning ways at last. hopefully its enough of a boast for us to go on and pick up enough points to scrape into the playoffs but we shall see. Matt
Not many Rebels at Aylesbury (but still helped them to their second best crowd of the season) - those that made the journey saw a pretty even opening, a morale-boosting tap-in for Smith after good work from Parsons, followed by a clanger from Jacko after he called for the ball but didn't get there. We managed to get back in front and didn't look back, getting a third quickly before the break, making the second half pretty comfortable with Smith adding another. He later got frustrated and could have seen red for a rash tackle. A good way to stop the rot, with Martin, Parsons and Swift our best players on the night I thought. It was very noticeable how much better we look with Swift adding much-needed balance on the left side. The team played better football that we've seen recently, using the flanks well and getting crosses in to the middle. A boost ahead of 3 games which we must surely need to take at least 6 points from to stand a chance. Burnell was not there as others have said and I didn't see Sweeney, but we were still able to use 3 substitutes.
Sir Rebel1965
Not having our BIG forward Burnell meant that the high balls were a not used, and the ball stayed on the ground and delivered in from wide to produce a solid performance delivering 3 points.
