Wouldn't say just at the back. Easy to criticise defenders for goals when there isn't much we can do at the back at times. Commitment is key

I didn't say it's just at the back, I said 'especially at the back'. I think Holmer haven't been good enough as a whole, but the goals against isn't good reading and the defenders have to take a fair bit of responsibility for that. From what I've read on this forum you seem to point the blame at others a bit too much. That results in bad morale (if any team mates read this forum), which therefore results in the bad commitment that you mention above.

Rhodes in disguise? Looking for a bite! Yes I think we can improve all round, but based on some performances I can't see much difference between ourselves and some others in the league further up the table. Commitment wise, I am talking of 8 different goalkeepersm 25 centre back partnerships etc.

Thought would add an opinion as I played against holmer recently. I have to agree with RH on this. Main problems at the back, especially from set pieces where I think we scored 4 maybe 5 of our goals. Ampthill btw. Ur striker had one chance and took it very well with a good finish. Stats suggest the same as ur goals scored column matches many teams around yourselves goals against on the other hand.......

Not Rhodes disguise, from what I've seen of him, my spelling, manners and intellect are far superior!

 

That's fair enough but there is a big difference between you and most teams and that's results, which is what counts. I could equally say I don't see too much difference between Holmer and most teams in the league below's performances. You're not miles ahead of Division One teams and that's just a simple fact.

 

Commitment wise, I saw you on here trying to recruit a goalkeeper who was looking for a club, when your current goalie was playing quite well. That wouldn't have done much for his confidence if he knew. Stuff like that might make people leave... just a thought.

Back to the number 10 Grant Holt again! Yeah we like him. he'd have nicked a move months a go if he actually see the ball more than twice a game! Or if hes that lucky and they get spanked he could sometimes touch the ball another 6 or 7 times from kick off!!
