Results and Next Weekend

Another great result for us today to take advantage of the game in hand.

With Southend losing at home against 10 men, just wondering what the thoughts were as the crowd walked away with next weekend's game in mind.

If there is a time to play them then surely this has to be the best time, but the attitude has to be right and they play week in week out at the higher level.

Looking at their messageboard they are getting really worried about next weeks game. I fully expect us to beat them, we will have no fear for this game. They might play at a higher level but they are proving that they cannot cope at that higher level.

As long as we dont get into a physical battle than them we will win. We are a far better footballing team than them.

One things for sure if they get a penalty there will be nothing to worry about!!!!

excellent away win sees us clear at the top.. games against the top teams coming up this month, but for now we can look forward to next saturday.. i see southend lost at home.. by all accounts they had a good first half but seem to lose heart after any setbacks at home.. they have trouble scoring and are having a mare with penalties this season........

back to our league, hornchurch have had a point deducted for fielding a player at swifts without registering him correctly.. every point helps

A little birdy tells me that if we win on Sunday then Wignall is gone!!

Of course this bird could be talking [****!!****], but who knows!

I think when it comes to FA Cup games like this, all the Non-League outfits should really be supporting each other.

I mean you've got Canvey, Thurrock, Hornchurch and Grays all in the first round and maybe a bit of semi-allegance would help with moralisation...Ok maybe not Grays but you see my point! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
