I signed it (even though I spent 5 years with Burnham :D ).

 

The Hellenic League forum is http://members6.boardhost.com/hfl/ if you want to put the petition link there - don't have to register to post.

 

 

I administer the Taplow United facebook page - I'll put the petition link on there as well for you.

Someone asked me to post a link to the petition on the Hearts forum. I might do it though I'm kind of wary of it ended up with people spamming the petition. Not sure how much interest there will be either because the forum is very active and topics go down the page very easily.

Has any one looked in to the possibility of getting a stand set up in the Queensmere or Observtory with a laptop to get people to sign the petition.

This is where we miss Chris our leader as I'm sure it would be the first thing on his mind to set up.

 

I know links have been have been set up with many football clubs to sign petition but what about all the other sporting clubs in slough like Cricket Rugby Hockey Swimming clubs etc.

 

My namesake John Delaney the great Rebels centre half of the sixties went on to play for Bournemouth.

We need to promote the whole community package that will be a benefit to all the Slough people that want to use it.

 

The houses, and the sports facilities that will be used by the whole community and by St. Joseph's school.

 

The opposition are purely talking about a football stadium as this makes them look like they are the only ones asking for the plot of land for use by the Slough people as a whole.

 

So we need to promote that it is NOT just the stadium for, as they put it... 250 people, BUT for the whole community as well.

 

So, when you put up links, it would be a good idea to promote the whole community package
