As an idea to boost the petition numbers what about our links with the youth, under 18's and reserve team.

Tremendous initiatives by Martin to start the ball rolling and Mark to increase the tempo.

The camaraderie amongst supporters is one of the things I really like about non league football.

We had a good rapport with some of the St Neots fans last season and similar experiences with fans from Royston this season. It breeds a good community spirit when we try to help each other out with our problems.

Although Barton & Hayes don't like us very much I find that most of the clubs we visit on our travels give us quite a good reception.

The fact we have 2k followers on @sloughtown on twitter, I was hoping majority of our followers would sign the petition. Just saw a RT from Obersver Sport, so hopefully this will prompt some others.

 

Maybe SloughTown accoun needs to keep drilling this in on the page daily or every other day to keep jogging followers memories.

ask around the academy if you get the chance spread the word as far & wide as possible. also congrats on your son getting into the academy. hopefully you can see him play at the new ground in a few years
