A good write up

Wasn't at the match so can't really comment but sounds like we played well.

Are we really obdurate??

Stubborn maybe but obdurate suggests we can only play one way,when I think against a top side away from home we simply chose to play that way with some success until the last few minutes,perhaps I am being pedantic though lol

[Lord Upminster]

We almost came away with a draw and a point, but it was a poor spectacle as a game and we can not complain regarding the result with all the possession that Eastleigh had.

[Eastside Urchin]

I think sometimes we can be far too critical on the team.We came up as 2nd best Ryman side,have more than held our own,especially recently.I would of loved something from the game yesterday but for the 4th time in 5 matches we played a top 6 side away and in those games we have scored 5 and conceded 5,sandwiched around that we have beaten bath and Bromley,hardly relegation form.We have limited resources and very average crowds.Our recent defensive form is itself worth another point

I would say that other than Welling who are head and shoulders above everyone else in this league, that was as good a team as we've played this season.

To hold them for as long as we did for me is encouraging and shows that there's nothing wrong with the spirit of the players.

 

Agree with Lord Upminster about the game though.
