Coffin Ender
First of all, full credit to Carshalton. Football at this level is all about doing the simple things well. They did that. Something I was pondering on the way home was what was the difference between today and Monday at Cray? I'm not convinced we played much worse. We dominated possession in the first half but, of course, Ryman matches are won or lost in the 18 yard boxes, not in midfield. All those Beckham-style 'quarterback' crossfield passes made no impression on the opposition. Simply, Carshalton defended better and took their chances. Second half, we were chasing the game and once the third went in, it was game over. CH's red card was another blow. Do you get a one game or three game ban for a professional foul? michael
stunned silence from most i guess. As CE implies- i suspect not that bad today, but equally not that good last week. Just amazing how things even up. Goalkeeper issues work for us last week, and against us this week. It always had to happen-losing. Thr run was never going to last for ever. Does'nt dilute the pain just the same. Particular pity as many of the other results were in our favour. As long as we beat ETU and Met polce though-will still be ok. Just a bit more nerve jangling Don't know when CH's ban will start-but guess he'll miss last 3 games of the season. Kick the cat and move on . Cookie
As the choir has been been banned I doubt there will be much noise from the terraces either to help encourage the team.
