Royston away

thought with all the talk of home truths being dealt out etc we would be majorly up for this and able to prove a point but sounds like we weren't up to it. just cannot believe we are in this situation with a near impossible task to even make the playoffs now

Although I'm a fan in spirit of slough and support from afar I still think I have a right to an opinion .Once again we've all read the players on twitter and manager in the press gobbling off about what they intend to do in the next match but sadly it's all talk and we've suffered yet another loss.following twitter it didn't sound like we made any decent chances and never looked like we were gonna win this game much like a lot of others.Ive read a lot of posts about how slough have got the best squad in the league and pay decent money but this must be a rosé tinted view by some of the fans.the players are clearly not as good as they or the fans think and if they are do they not give a [****!!****].Maybe it's time slough stopped living off their past glories and realised exactly where the club currently is.The conference days seem a very very long time ago now !!!

Yes because all these posts moaning is really going to help motivate our exhausted team for the remaining games.

The players will know they have not played well, they need our support not to see us moaning all the time, they are playing a huge number of games in a short space of time. We had a lot of possession today and got caught out by their only two chances, we just need a bit of luck to get our confidence back.

We have 3 games in hand on Royston and 8 points behind. Yes its a slim chance but its a chance nonetheless, we must believe and back the boys to the end.

COYR!

Another game where we did an awful lot of huffing and puffing, but not a great deal of blowing the house down!

There was no shape or leadership to the team today - I rather think our game plan was "go out and do whatever you want, and if it doesn't work, then never mind"! We were outfought in midfield and lacking any width whatsoever. Much like the last 4 games in fact.

I think it's worrying that the players don't seem to know what the team's strengths are, or how to pull themselves out of a downward spiral. The same could apply to the management, as there was little in the way of game-changing activity, or even basic leadership or encouragement!

The players are, on paper, very good. But it's now blindingly obvious that the team that's been built out of them is sadly lacking.

To be honest I can only see Slough winning two more games this season against North Greenford Utd and Cherstey and draws against Aylesbury, Godalming (home) and Thatcham and missing the playoffs. Only Biggleswade above us today didn't win and Rugby have gone top.
