I got given a copy of the Guernsey rag on my flight to and from the island. Tony Vance says in Monday's paper "Matt has offered us his services and we are grateful, but it is only an option we will use if we are desparately short of players and need him.

If we have enough players, then he won't be involved, so there is no set date or game or anything like that. All this talk about Raynes Park on Sunday is nonsense"

 

Even better news in Saturday's paper though: "More than two decades after their first release, Guernsey's only remaining original hardcore punks (Insurrection) are back with a three track EP."
