michael
AS the press release states :gives some sort of certainty going into the last games of the season. Even if we were to lose the next 8 games, i still think its a good appointment;as minimally, they can/have/are building their own squad for next season;and seem to be working hard at it. Is there a slight shift in emphasis-CH was manager with SO as assistant;whereas now we have joint managers. No hidden agenda in that-it all makes sense to me and the partnership seems to work really well. Particular congrsats to CH as many of us are probably guilty of forgetting that he is only 28 and its a massive responsibility. Guernsey Tom
really pleased for them both, the style of football they want is far more entertaining than the previous manager, sorry cant remember his name ! and they seem to have very good connections, if only we had good news on the ground situation, lets now push hard for the play offs, 3 points today please to celebrate
neeteretep
Congratulations to the both of them. I think they have shown that they are capable of doing the job. Let's hope they can keep the core of the squad together for next season with some quality additions. GOOD LUCK BOYS.
upthegate
A word of praise for Piper who doesn't always get the credit he deserves. A brave and good appointment, good timing to give CH and SO time to plan for next season. Great news all round and good luck to all.

zorba
After some of the doom mongering on the forum in recent times, this is great news and could herald exciting times ahead (I hope). Young managers now seem to be the vogue rather than the hard-bitten old ex-pros of the past, and joint managership has proven to work at all levels of football. As previously mentioned, they seem to have the connections (as seen with the Stoke and Dag&Redbridge loans), which could be vital with the club's limited financial budget. Good luck to CH & SO, I am sure that they will bring success to the club.
