South Park v Guernsey - Friday 5th April 7.45pm

Recommended Posts

Should be an interesting game. Guernsey have signed up 7 extra players to help cover the busy month ahead so looking forward to seeing some new faces.

Heard that one of 'em has had an excellent and well publicised track-record playing in the past !!

Any comments from those on the beautiful Isle ??

Tom Strawbridge, Craig Young, Simon Marley, Mark McGrath and Ryan Tippett all return to the GFC set up, and are all useful players. A very interesting and promising 16 year old, Kyle Smith and Veteran midfielder Matt Drillot are likely to get their first appearances for the club this weekend too.

Craig Young has a great goalscoring record in the Priaulx League - I understand the only reason he isn't a regular for GFC is he's not able to commit full time. I believe Ryan Tippett was at Tranmere Rovers in his younger days

FT: South Park 0-2 Guernsey

Ross Allen with his 50th and 51st goals of the season. Good to see a lot of familiar faces there tonight and to have a quick chat with the ormering boys who do such a good job with the singing.

Unlucky on South Park although personally I thought they played better in the away game which they should have won. This game they were better side first half but not the second.

I would agree with that from watching the live stream. They gave us a good game!

Agree with all that Bommie. South Park shaded a scrappy first half but deffo a penalty.

Second half Park slow to get going a predatory goal sealed the points.

Same amount of chances both sides but Guernsey took theirs.

Very impressed with GFC number 8 tonight.

And finally, one of five golden goal tickets bought by my colleague (45m - penalty was 45+4) then told it was the last goal that wins!!!! (Won by Ray Lewis I believe).

So wrong that!

The officials are biased

Guernsey get all desicions it's ridiculous

Was right behind the goal, defo pen, but south park were very unfortunate to be trailing at half-time.
