PORTENCROSS
The Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy Final gave fans plenty to talk about with League leaders Burnham Ramblers and Enfield 1893 dishing up the highest Domestic Cup Final score in the leagues 42 year history. Ending up 8 2 to Burnham Ramblers, the first goal, the fastest on record in a Final by Charlie Kirby came in 19 seconds , the second by Bradley Nobbs in 6 mins and third by Kirby, again on 7 mins not forgetting that this was mixed with Mervin Abrahams 4th minute effort for Enfield 1893 which meant that the latecomers , of which there were a few, missed 4 goals ! Going in at half time 4-2 up, Burnham just Rambled on at their leisure with four more in a sunny but cold second half to take the Trophy and continue to try and emulate Witham Town last season in securing all three domestic trophies. Well done to Keith Wilson and his team !

Sorry
Firstly thank you to Portencross for his words. It was a surreal game hope the spectators enjoyed the match as much as we did Also Enrico you are right Witham did do the quadruple last year, but the Tolleshunt D'Arcy is not a competition that is affiliated to the ESL. We would love to try and repeat Witham's success last year but there is a long way to go yet and won't be counting our chickens
