Jonah not a first team choice, don't you think that if he was not in GB's plans he would have been released by now.

He was our top scorer from last season who ran his socks off every time I saw him and was an inspiration to the rest of the team.

I Think Everyone Would Agree That Jonah Was A Quality Player For The Club Last Year And Was An Important Player In The Promotion ! But There Were Also Many Players Who Were Just As Important Who No Longer Play For Us eg. Danny Benstock, Kevin Marsden

I'm sure Jonah is when fit very much in the mind of George and if he wasn't like Digger says would have been released. I actually think Steve probabblly knows the score that he might not play many first team games, Steve won't give up and is always the man you would put your money on to score !

He's on a 2 year lucrative contract why would he allow us to release him? Anyway he's good for the club and I'm sure he will pass on some experience to some of the younger strikers.

I for one know i would like to see him at the club in a coaching position but he's not a knackered Horse yet far from it !

 

And Steve When fit will give all the other strikers a run for a first team place.It will be interesting to see what happens, i know i wouldn't be able to pick between them all with Dougie scoring and Taffe playing well for forty five minutes against Wingate, Jonah nearly fit, Bradley Allen Back, Vinnie playing well and new boy Lloyd scoring two on his debut.
