michael
Normally a topic for close season and the first month of a new season;when managers/coaches/players and supporters waffle on about a new side-and 'it will take us a few games to gell' Normally thats spouted by managers and fans alike after a few poor performances to buy a bit of time. Now there is imo a bit of truth in that, but if you look at our current side-we have 6/7 players in the thurrock game who have been with us under 2 moonths-i include dolby in the 7 as he is playing left back.'but its still 6 new faces under the holloway regime even not counting him. Does that mean that : all the talk oof 'time to gel' is a load of boxxxcks, CH and SO are super managers/coaches, CH recognised the need to refresh and has got the signings right, the players he has brought in are quality, we've been a bit lucky as ever-probbly a mixture of all 5-but is 'time to gel' an over used excuse ? dflman
You weren't at Wingate & Finchley away then ? That was time for WD40
marksandwell
But i would like to see a few signings for next season, bodkin for one, witnall for two and although he frustrates the hell out of me for having no balls i would still sign murphy. Now who else would you add?
Blue Banshee
hey I'd like to keep pretty much all the present squad
michael
Does it somewhat depend what league we are in? If if if, its the bss, not all of the players may be willing/able to sacrifice a complete day and night off work to travel to dorchester, weston s- mare etc.
wade
Surely we need to sort the management out first. Holloway and Osborn have got to get the nod regardless of where we go from here. Really impressed with style of play and general approach. If we miss out on play offs it will be down to our vast injury list. Need continuity for next season and core of current squad retained. Blue Banshee
I'd be really happy with Holloway and Osborn carrying on as well - they have done a great job so far, as have the squad.
