v Leighton

I don't put that stat down to losing NBH, I put it down to us reverting to 4-4-2 rather sticking Kyle Anthony in NBH's position and sticking with a 3-5-2... Maybe once the chase is done and we need to be more solid, we will revert back!

I think we miss NBH big time.Just having the presence of him, Brownie and Wooz together look the part before the game even begins. They were a formidable defence.

Our defence doesn't look that way at all at the moment.Leighton weren't the best gauge of this,as they are a very poor side lacking in confidence, yet in the very first 10 minutes our sloppiness at the back nearly let them in with two gilt-edged chances.

I worry that better teams will open Slough up, as we've not been convincing playing just two centre halves. I agree Cookham Rebel, I think we should use either Alex Brown or Steve Perkins in a three man defence plus Danny Murphy as a defender/wing back.

I know you don't see it often these days but I think we have the perfect personnel to play a sweeper system, thus shoring the defence up and offering the chance to break out from the back quickly [and I don't mean Brownie as a sweeper! lol].

Despite what Hotspur said,we gained good ground yesterday with SYCOB and Royston losing. Ryan O'Toole is on fire and has been an excellent signing.Nothing went Ed Smith's way but at least, he found the space for goal scoring opportunities.Goals will come.Amazed Danny Burnell didn't get offside in yesterday's game,as that is something he usually gets penalised for.Wonder if the linesmen were up to much?!

Great that we have three excellent strikers to call on.

Thought Adam Martin played well.Let's hope he can do the business against Burnham,as he is a shoe-in to start.
