seemgee
FT 1-0 Goal may be credited to Hope. Teams below only Wingate and Carshalton win nice gap opened up. Are we safe?..............I think so
OldTowner
A good 3 points. Could / Should have been more than 1 - 0, but hey, it's 3 points. Well done Towners.
CD Towner
Great 3 points and that should secure our safety. Liam Hope has certainly gone back on the scoring trail! It seemed to be a game dominated by the wind and we dealt with it better than Leiston.
Steph
I thought that s better team than Leiston would have made more of the openings they created.
Enfield United
I agree with CD Towner, quality of the game was affected by a freezing strong breeze (I suppose better known as wind), very even game we were on top at times as were Leiston. I thought Leiston were stronger individually with a couple of their players showing good technique in difficult conditions, except for their woeful shooting ability, I dont think they mustered a shot On Target but must have had about 12 Off Target. We were the better team though, worked hard, had our game plan and set piece plans which in the end won the game. I thought their number 9 was a super player, his touch was good, very very pacey and his delivery of a cross was very good too, we were lucky he fell over his own feet when clean through after 5 minutes, certainly made Kirbs and White look stationary with his turn. Well done lads, another 3 points in difficult conditions. ARE WE HAPPY???????????? I am and looking forward to another Ryman Premier League Season from August again.
