A Big week for Frimley Green.

Smudge

Recommended Posts

Not withstanding their Ground Grading, the coming 8 days from Saturday 30th March sees them play 4 games,Sat,Monday,Thursday,Saturday. Not easy games at that,South Kilburn,Eversley and California,Warlingham,Epsom Athletic. At one stage, they were 5 games behind most teams,by the end of the week they will have played more than anyone.Win them all, they will be certainties for promotion, any slip ups they may not need a Ground Grading.

Must say I am gutted for Westfield, done no favours by the League,Revenue Wise!!!!! They are the best supported Club in Div1 by a country mile, yet have been given 2 AWAY fixtures at poorly supported Clubs,on a Bank Holiday Weekend.Great planning CCL?

We have them Monday smudge and we had a few at the Feltham game the other week. Allbeit that was the only game to go ahead that day.

We have asked the league to change the fixture so we travel bank holiday to Frimley and then play Banstead on a Thursday night because unless we can get a pitch closer the gaffer has already said we won't be able to get a side out to Frimley unless it was a 8:45 ko unfortunately this could have an unfair affect on the other teams at the top

I think there will be a good crowd at Spelthorne on Monday.

Sorry to hear that Warlingham are strugguling to get out a side but that's a poor excuse for the level we play at. Too many players are quick to put on their twitter bio that they are semi pro yet can't make a regional 7.45 midweek kick off.

Last season Bedfont, Spelthorne, Knaphill and at least one other club came to you and no one said a word just got on with it. Go back to your gaffer and tell him this then tell to go get a job in a lower league which may be more suitable to him and your players. 8.45 kick off means a 10.30 finish nice one!!
