Croydon Athletic should of been out of sight by half time, penalty saved, hit the bar,and missed a couple of easy chances. However the Kilburn 7,had a couple of decent runs, but his finishing was woeful to say the least.Barn door, springs to mind,0-0 ht.Second half,Croydon played the better football, but Kilburn took the lead against the run of play, from the penalty spot. But after having a player sent off,for abusive language to the excellent Referee Mr. Walker(Jamacain Speak) I was told after the game,Kilburns shape fell apart, and Croydon duly equalised, and looked as though they would go on and win the game.Somehow out of nowhere Kilburn strung together a 5 man passing move, they are not known for passing to one another, that was finished with aplomb by Skats.Probably the only thing he had done right all night. Was nice to see both sets of Players shaking hands with one another, and the Officials after the game, that normally tells me something.
