GazzaBTFC
It's been a busy period for the club as regards fundraising and I think thanks are required all round for those that took part in both the "Light Up For The Lights". From those that managed them, put them together through to those that took part and supported both events, individually or collectively. I know for a fact, families and friends were asked to support and brought along to at least one of the events. Speaking personally as a long term supporter, I am more than grateful to those that have made the time and effort to ensure the success of this weekend. It doesn't matter if you just turned up and parted with your coin...you took part. As well as the events, we have also been promoting the Light Up For The Lights season ticket initiative. Those supporters that were involved in the promotion also deserve thanks, not forgetting those that have supported it in the obvious way. Thanks to everyone who planned, promoted, organised and attended. You all did your bit and I am sure your efforts will make a difference. Next week our fundraising changes focus from the club to an individual. We are conducting a Benefit evening for Craig Edwards's son Craig, who sustained a football playing ending injury during our away game against Dorchester. The injury has also effected his full time job. This is a after match event, complete with (the inevitable) raffle (some great prizes to be won). We kindly ask you once again to support this event and give generously. Once again, thank you all for your support.
