Sat v Concord

Chase side.

You are being a little unfair. After all we cannot predict where a rain drop will fall. A butterfly fluttering its wings in South America etc. (Chaos theory)

Anyway look at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/canvey-island#?tab=fiveDay&fcTime=1363996800

I wonder if I can bet that the game will not take place. It is to our advantage if it did as Concord has played twice this week whereas we are comparatively fresh.

I think the met office are notoriously unreliable when predicting snow - 'snow flurries' is a perfect catch all for rain or snow or sleet.

Anyway, weather, aside, I agree, this will be Concord's third game in just over 4 days, so a perfect time to play them. Hopefully Gunz is back to add a bit of pace to the attack. He was reasonably hopeful last Saturday of getting on the park this weekend.

All weather dependent though ;-)

What a poor performance.

Not a SINGLE SHOT on or off target.

Last 3 games = 0 goals for and 7 against.

In my opinion we still need 6 points to survive and on todays performance we could not score in a b####### !

Far to many players having "bad days" and "poor attitude".

No desire shown against a team who have just played 3 games in 5 days.

Players like Hunt are just a luxury we cannot afford.

Time for a re-think or we will slide into trouble over the next few weeks.

Bit of Attitude required.

That sums it up OT.

Some desire to win every header and tackle goes a long way to winning football matches. Too many 50-50 balls lost, or even worse, some players today bottling it.

Noel Imber is the only player in that side that can sleep well tonight knowing he did all he could today.

The pitches aren't helping us but then Concord today adepted very well to the conditions.

And talking of Concord, their 3rd game in 5 fays yet they looked fitter and stronger than our lot. Either the players need to start looking after themselves more, or the reality is that some of these guys are good enough for the bottom half of the RPL, but not at the business end of the league.

I will name no names, but we'll see who is still with us next season.

Hopefully some of the reserves are ready to step up. An 8-2 win for them today. Will we see any if them on Wednesday. We need some goals.

Poor performance all round. No desire, no tactical awareness and very few ideas.

I decided to stay behind our goal in the second half as my feet were so cold and didn't want to walk the 100 yards plus to the other end. Believe me, all those who were behind their goal, our performance was awful. There was no structure to our defence and Concord passed the ball through our players at will. We could have easily shipped another four goals in that second half but were very fortunate that some of their players had put their boots on the wrong feet. Going forward looked even worse.

Baffled with the substitutions.

I think we are very lucky that there are teams below us who cannot buy a win.
