cup of tea
I know that after our recent history I shouldn't really be commenting on this, but it does look like a few of the larger sized clubs in this league are getting themselves further into debt every season but still make sure that they keep spending enough on players to be competitive regardless. Bath, Farnborough and now Chelmsford immediately springs to mind. Is this sustainable? Are we going to see more cost-effective clubs like us and Billiericay being the way forward for the BSS? Eastside Urchin
Hayes are in trouble, not sure it's financially but they have a little over a week to secure a suitable ground for next season or they will be expelled from the league
SEVEN TEARS BOY
Would that mean we (or Ricay) stayed up if we finished 3rd from bottom? (They might - we won't.)
Eastside Urchin
If it came to it,but I would rather stay up through hard work. I actually think Hayes could go down anyway

Urchins
Would that mean we (or Ricay) stayed up if we finished 3rd from bottom? (They might - we won't.) Only if we (or Ricay) end up with more points than the third from bottom team in Blue Square North I think.

urchinman1961
Interesting thread this apart from a handfull of games where we were well beaten most of the sides there is very little between them and next season could be even tighter Hornchurch have been a great example by getting the right balance considering the small budget that we operate on This has been a great learning curve for us and think it will put us in good shape for next season where as Chelmsford will have to cut their budget and expectations dont think the fans will like that too much
