PeterPan1
Agree with the prem and div 1 choices, broxbourne must have done something to upset who ever chooses this award as they look a bit hard done by 5 games conceded 1 goal 4 wins and a draw(against mursley away same as pitstone in this period)this including a county cup semi final win against a team in a div above just as pitstone and Aston have both done, broxbourne not lost a game since October which was against Aston and up until losing at risborough recently in march (counting out the loss to oxhey in floodlit cup in December) and never been awarded team of the month all season maybe they cheesed someone off with all the last minute problems at the beginning of the season who knows but was just interested to see how this award is nominated by the league if anyone knows the answers?? lee bearman
Last febuary we won all our league games scoring 16 goals and conceding 3 and beat Langford in the semi final of a cup 6-1 and didn't get a mention.

Your record for February 2012 was four wins (100%) whilst King's Langley won all five of their games (100%) - I guess the Committee regarded them over you. Harsh indeed but it was their decision. Again it was harsh but the Division Two awards were for the two months combined and the records were as follows: Aston Clinton 5 wins from 5 games, Pitstone & Ivinghoe 5 wins and 1 draw, Broxbourne Borough 4 wins and 1 draw. PeterPan1
Again it was harsh but the Division Two awards were for the two months combined and the records were as follows: Aston Clinton 5 wins from 5 games, Pitstone & Ivinghoe 5 wins and 1 draw, Broxbourne Borough 4 wins and 1 draw. So teams basically get punished if games get called off which are circumstances out of there hands, ud of thought 2 or 3 games different you could understand but when it's 1 in broxbournes and the same in lee's case sure ud think GF GA would come into play, this league has never had any common sense even when I played in it I was taking a look at the div 2 run in as it seems a good 3 way race where the prem and div 1(should cockfosters and london lions make use of there games in hand) are pretty nailed on and again favours Aston 11 league games to play first 4/5 away remainding 6 fixtures all at home I find that odd, but you have to play them all at some point I guess!! Thanks for clearing that up tho Karen I'm sure it answers a few people's questions and keep the good work up on here always makes handy reading!! Duck1
Looking at the form tables, it will be Dunstable again for March and April in the Prem. Can't deny they have the highest points per game total but makes you wonder whether there should be some other criteria that allows for other teams to win it. If you are the runaway leaders of any division its likely you will be the team of the month every month. We are currently on a 25 match unbeaten run in all competitions stretching back to Nov last year ( a club record going back to 1897), havent been beaten away since April 2012 and have not won any recognition all season. Im sure there are many other clubs in the prem and other divisions that have had remarkable runs of results but dont get any recognition. Anyhow....just a thought. Karen Browne
Think Aylesbury United might have a shout with Bedford and Kent Athletic looking good for the other Divisions

CCCC
Would you be up for the League publishing the refs monthly marks then Pete?
petethegreek
I don't have a problem with the marks being made public but I doubt it would ever happen.
Neutral
Would you be up for the League publishing the refs monthly marks then Pete? surely only the top ones. it would not be fair to humiliate those with lower marks- especially the leagues youngsters
petethegreek
I think it's an FA thing that marks are not made public. What makes you think the youngsters are at the bottom?
