Windsor Rebel
After all the drama surrounding Arbour Vale this week its back to footie on Saturday. A few of us are meeting in the Merchants Inn, 5, Little Church Street, Rugby from 1PM onwards on Saturday. Why not join us and raise a glass to George Osbourne cutting beer tax duty? And also a toast to ours allies on Slough Borough Council. Cheers!

HorshamRebel
AccuWeather on my phone is talking about 2 inches if snow falling on Saturday before kick off after whatever falls out of the sky on Friday. I think this is going to be yet another mid week match sometime in the future
Radders
Agreed its not looking good. With it being at rugby though it may give us s chance if a game as their pitch is normally very good and seems to deal well with rain. Will be the snow that could be the killer but if that holds off long enough we may get lucky!!!

Their pitch is covered in snow and it is freezing conditions up there. Feel really sorry for you as I just cannot see how you can complete all your games with the league stated season. Surely the Southern League could increase this season by a week?
tomcrin
Good choice for the pre match drink, i must agree. Snow is very heavy here and the forecast for tomorrow is a continuation of the same, with with wind chill tempratures of -9/10. @rugbytown will be giving updates on twitter early on so keep an eye on that for updates. have a safe journey up.... Tom, with the fore-casted weather a bit surprised Rugby havn't announced a time for a pitch inspection in the morning bearing in mind some Slough supporters have to set off early to get to Rugby tomorrow. A Rebel and a Saint
I'm a little concerned that if it snows as much as it is mean to across the midlands area, that all three of our games this week could be in danger due to the temperature not rising enough to melt the snow. Then we would really be in trouble with fitting the games in. Would be really nice to know what time the pitch inspection is, would rather not be most of the way to Wexham Park to find it's been called off, or even on the way to Rugby. staines_rebel_Jr
If all three of this weeks games are cancelled then we would have three Thursdays available with four matches to fit in.
