Commiserations to Westfield who gave it a good go. They went behind in the first few minutes from an own goal but then equalised almost immediately through Sam Black. Walton got the decisive goal well into the second half. Will hopefully have some highlights ready later on tomorrow.

Well done to Walton Casuals on their victory tonight, the winning goal was a delightful cross, and near post header that deserved to win any game. The Officials overall had an excellent game, but did the Ref,bottle a late Penalty appeal, from Westfield, not sure as I was the other end of the pitch from the incident. We will all be able to give our opinion tomorrow,as the well renowned Videographer, that enhances this site so much, yes TRS was in a prime location within the ground,so something for you stay at home fans,to get your teeth into, when he posts it.The plus side of the night was getting 3 kisses on the cheek from 3 lovely ladies, and meeting up again with my good friends from Westfield, gutted you lost, but you did the CCL PROUD.Now the downside of the night, having this afternoon visited my brother in Kings College Hospital after he had a Heart Attack yesterday,I headed straight to Colston Avenue, where I thought I could get something to eat, alas there was nothing for sale all night, bar a bag of crisps. On enquiring behind the bar,was told that as they Carshalton Athletic had only taken £100 last year, they did not think it was worthwhile this year. Will Surrey FA FINE THEMSELVES,for something that all Clubs have to do at Senior Level.Worse was to follow though after the game, whilst the Hierachy (Surrey F.A Officials,Ref and Assistants, lauded it in the Boardroom, stuffing their faces with Sausage Rolls,Pork Pies,Prawn Sandwiches, etc the rest of us starved.NOT ONE OF THEM HAD THE DECENCY to come into the bar after the game, and THANK the players, supporters, for making the Evening a great success that it was.Shame on you all,no wonder fans are deserting NON LEAGUE in their droves,if that is the way you treat them.Their was also a lack of CCL Officials in attendance, bar Mr. Morrell who it was nice to meet again.A final note some people put their heart and soul into Non League, amongst them Andy Nunn,Lisa Harding,so just hope that all the people who said to me, that they would buy photos,of a memorable night do so,I will check of cause,as memories last forever.Good Night, could not get pissed, has had nothing to eat.OVER AND OUT SMUDGE(THE ONLY FAN ON FANS FORUM)That is recognisable from his avatar pic,and proud of it.xxxx

Now more often than not I ignore smudges late night rants but for this one I am with him. If you have the honour of hosting a County Cup final then have the decency to cater for it properly. Shame on Carshalton and I hope that they do not get given anymore County Cup finals.

Gutted about last night - yes you could say we didnt deserves to be there but there were a few players we would have like to play against Staines in the semi but didnt and stuck to the rules.

We conceeded early from a free kick but hit back within 60 seconds- thought we went on to dominate the half and missed 2 great chances.

2nd period we created and spurned another great chance but Casuals took control and were much the better side. Saying that apart from one effort they didnt create an awful lot but their winning goal was fit enough to win any final. left wing cross and a great flying header. Still drama to come when Matty Steer was brought down in the box in the last minute of stoppage time but the ref who i thought had a good game waved play on. I'm sure if it had been Mewcenarys end he wouldnt have been able to resist and would have stuck the flag on his chest for the pen :)

As big as the occasion was fact remains we still have 10 cup finals left this season

Bit harsh to Lammas NLN, they already beat you in the league a week before comftably and didn't need to play players to ensure the win just a breakdown in communication between club secretary and management. Commiserations anyway.

For the lad that came on at the end there could be some sympathy as he didnt touch the ball but Gary James played the whole match. Yes you did beat us far and square the previous week and its a shame you only seem to raise your game against the higher placed sides as you could have been on the end of season mix
