Whitehawk

Cynical as i am I suspect Whitehawk would not be too fused if the game was called off as they are 3 games ahead of Margate and therefore have a lesser build up of matches, and Margate really do not need another re-scheduled match...

On the other hand-are we likely to have a stronger/fitter side available in 2/3 weeks time and be better prepred to take them on-with the two daggers settled more into the team pattern/plays ?

Anyway-fingers crossed we get at least a point tonight-

C'mon Margate

A very good point. First half was very open and end to end. But second half was always going to be tougher up the slope and they had better of it. Last ten minutes we were really under the cosh and they had a big penalty shout given inches outside the box. Crowd about 100 of which we had a quarter.

Quick Report on Game....

Drank (shared 3 x bottles of wine on coach) 2 x gunniess at match. Quiet evening...

Yes I know 1 point is a good result but when you play like we've been playing you get greedy and want all 3.

Felt sorry for Rook who had just scored two goals, so his reward on the bench all game. Is Kizi injured?, (if so he shouldn't have been picked) he showed a lack of ummph in challenges for the ball, don't think he won one ball in the air. Did some nice lay offs though. Tommy M again had a good game (he might be heading for player of the month) most of the regulars had a fair to good game. I think we can say MFC can play better and will play better, but as we started off we got the point away from home against the top side. The TOP SIDE, there is absolutely no way that the Team that Whitehawk put out will survive in the Conf south.

went to loo and missed our goal, couldn't see the penalty we gave away as my eyes are not that good. But have to say I understand what is meant about home team putting pressure on ref, yet when we do it at Hartsdown we don't seem to get the rub of the green. Whitehawk certainly had an extra man on the field.

Great turnout from MFC supporters, Whitehawk had there standard 3 men & a dog, although i think the dog may have left early.

So Saturday now give me the 3 points and i'll be very happy.

Very good point... If we do canvey all good and rosey

Indeed a cracking point down there. As you say if we can muster a win against Canvey and quickly do similar against Wealdstone we shall have done extremely well over this tricky period. A couple of 6 pointers there for sure!

Both should be crackers so lets hope we get plenty turning up for both games. The players certainly deserve a good attendance.

We should have nicked it in the last two minutes just before their last free kick.

What I wonder about is why we had to play against 11 men for 88 minutes when Whitehawk no 5? as last man stopped the magate player with a foul which was given by the ref but he failed to follow up with the mandatory red card.
