HKP
Interesting comments on the financial front, seems to be saying they are covering all their travelling expenses? I understood CI teams in the Vase were responsible for the cost of getting 22 people here from the nearest scheduled airport.
NCEL fan
I think they are mate - it's a bit of spin really as they choose to travel the way they have done so I guess they're referring to the surplus costs once GFC pay the min. to cover what would have been the cheapest route. I'm not appraised of all the details though so I may be wrong. I'd also take it with a slight pinch of salt as their playing budget is massive and they choose to spend money that way - but it's their perogative. Have to say as a club they seem really on the ball and contribute to fans' travel costs regularly - the Chairman is known as a very generous guy. E&E Rich
And Spennymoor will still be step five next season as they won't catch Darlington now. Maybe with that budget they actually have to win the Vase for it to be worthwhile.
GuernseyGeordie
Excellent find that NCEL. This Brad Groves sounds almost as good a bloke as our Chairman. I've not looked at Tunbridge, but GFC, Shildon and Spennymoor have horrendous April fixture lists.
Smudge
Only 18 teams in the Kent League,so they are 8 games better of for starters.
