thanks to Chris Tardif GK MOM says it all

I have to think a few players were thinking about next weeks fa vase game, and not wanting injuries, as i have never seen us duck out of so many challenges.

Yep South Park did deserve a point Guernsey look under pressure trying to close the gap (I hope) today even though S Park are not brilliant they look a very awkward side to play against and you can see why they don't concede many..........................S Park just needed to gamble a little more still sides show Guernsey to much respect at the back they don't press them high enough..........fair play to Guernsey though they got there luck and nicked the win.................catch us if you can :bolt:

Don't concede many? There last 2 games have been a 4-4 draw and a 6-2 loss..

Attendance 1117. Doesn't sound like that many, do they need more mics near the crowd or are the singing contingent only at away games?

The noisy buggers are mostly UK based.

How the cartoon characters from Colorado never scored is beyond me. GFC were poor, partially through not playing well on the day but also due to the way South Park played. In the end, three points is three points.

Gutted that we didn't get at least a point today. Don't think too many guernsey fans would complain if we took all 3.

Their keeper getting MOM sums the game up really, we had chances and didn't take them, they had 1 good chance and took it. Tardiff is different class!

Good team and a nice club. No egos at all amongst the guernsey players. Look forward to playing them in a couple of weeks.

Enjoyable weekend and good experience. Tardif was a machine in goal, but the movement of the Guernsey front 2 and midfield was exceptional, certainly keeping us on our toes for 90 mins. Disappointed we couldn't have got at least a point from the game, but think we have a good account of ourselves. Wish them all the best of luck in the Vase, having spoken to a couple of them after the game they seem genuinely decent lads too. Look forward to hosting them at ours in 3 weeks time.

It is a struggle to get noise out of our crowd but we are slowly getting there. I think we keep our real noise for the Crapaud's! On my side of the stand by the scoreboard it was only little old me starting all of the chants but some joined in which was great. Trumpet man was sorely missed below me. I am pretty shy and have a speech impediment and yet I am am the loudest. It just doesn't make sense! COYG's on my side of the stand, I need some help here!!! Edited by sarniaMJ

We need more of the young lads to come along, the ones who always show for the Muratti and can cause opposing keepers some difficulty with their constant banter behind the goal. Seems to me that in The Garenne you have extremes of young children and older fans, which is not conducive to chanting. I've been sat close to Sir Geoffrey on occasion and it is slightly unnerving if you want to give it some !
